I love these little flowers, this was a cutting from one my son bought my mother when he was 6 (he's 27 now!!!) she has taken cuttings over the years from the original one. Very easy to propagate just break of a leaf and stick it in water, roots soon appear!!

I was going2buy 1 of these months ago from B&Qs & it z on Label2 Discared when finished flowering ?So i thought i wont buy 1 of those if it dont last long ,I wonder why it z that ? Its was so very Pretty Just like the 1 in your Pic SK :)

don't know why they say that, my mother has had various african violets over the years and all flowered for her non stop!

Very pretty, I have trouble with these too, mine looks really healthy but has no flowers :o( maybe you could ask your Mum her secret with these Sk?

do you feed it? i feed mine from spring to the end of summer with baby bio only water when dry try not to get water on the leaves they hate it. my mums are on an east facing windowsill so are mine. i think she waters hers from the bottom.

Ah, east facing windowsill, Lori mentioned that too. No I haven't fed it but will get some Baby Bio for it, I have it stood on pebbles which I keep damp.
