Beautiful colour

That beautiful shade of purple looks great against that bright green...very sharp and clear, too

Beautiful - but what is it please?

This here is referred to another bush orchid species, I will have to find out its proper botanic name, and there are the some of the same plant that blooms in a lighter shade of purple to this, such a pretty flower.

Oh, yes - now I can see from the shape of the flowers that it's an orchid! How lovely to have this growing in your garden...

They are very pretty orchids!

I have this orchid...once it flowers it dies down and regrows again in spring.
It is a bulb-type terrestrial orchid...I can't remember the name though.
When I remember I'll post the name.
