Glad to see I'm not the only one who names the wild visitors to my yard. My mother used to just laugh and laugh when I would tell her about Morty the Mockingbird and Howard the Brown Thrasher. Two of the larger and LOUDER birds who live in my yard! Glad to see that Benny has some appreciative friends!

A few years ago I had a little chipmunk with a too short tail. I called him "Stumpy", haven't seen him this year, but they don't live very long lives.

What a great idea your daughter had of naming the robin. I think Benny suits him.
