TT I'm just six miles from town and town is the Alaska heartland city of 60,000. We don't do much lawn or clearing here really. We like to be nestled in the trees. I've a bigger clearing than most.

Jacque, the january moon is one of my favorite things. You can look straight north at a big full moon riding on the horizon. I wait for it every year.

GT, This is such a beautiful picture, looks alive. I would be constantly tripping, if I lived in such an environment! I am very susceptable to the moon! lol..really lovely. A very different climate than most, yet, it's your normal! nice.

Thanks PG, I thought it was a nice opportunity to use my compass garden for direction as well. Really shows up in the snow.

Though I could never live in such of a cold suurounding, - It´s really beautiful.
