this little foal is lovely. When my neighbour's pony had her foal she asked me to help out as she couldn't get the foal to suckle, so I got stuck in and managed to encourage the foal under the pony to find the teats. I didn't worry whether or not I'd get kicked although it was alright. It was wonderful to see it suckle. I was used to horses, goats, chickens, bees, and I used to help a friends when his sheep were due to have their lambs by keeping my eye on them and helping his dad take them into the pens when they had lambed. I used to be there for my goats when they had kids and make sure that everything was o.k.

I don't know but it was fun. Milking before 6-30a.m. and again in the evening. I kept two British Alpine goats, and had them mated alternate years to keep the milk supply going. I still drink goats milk now.
