Garrya elliptica 'James Roof'

I planted this Garrya just over a year ago, and it seems very happy. It has grown and has a number of 'tassels' on it.

They're catkins just opening, Greenthumb. Garryas are evergreen, too They can gt quite large, but they can also be pruned back.

I have Garrya elliptica.
Weather seems to have suited them this year, as mine also looks particularly healthy this autumn with lots of catkins. :o)

I need more plants that bloom in the early spring .Wonder if this one is suited for our climate. I 'll have to do some research, I'd love to have one.
