????? Maybe I am a bit tired as it is almost 1.30 am here in the UK but what does this mean, please? What is this a picture of? Sorry if I should know. Put it down to my great age. (senility) ha ha

Poster 'Greenthumb' made a comment regarding the eating of the wild 'Girolle' mushrooms. This photo is of the cooked Girolles before adding them to an omelette; hence the caption.
Perhaps it would be more appropriate on a 'cookery blog' but nature supplies not only beauty, but bounty!

Mmmm, yummy, I love girolles. It reminds me of my many long walks with my mother on warm autumn days in a forest in Provence.

It was nice to remind me of those precious moments.
