i remember getting Snow like that here In Uk when i was Younger Chris :( But it dont seem2get so bad any more ! We used 2 have 2 stay home on school days as u couldnt walk in it?

Yes I remember that as well Jacque ,, it was great to get a day off , more sometimes when they couldn,t clear the village roads for the buses :)

Remember 1947 in the U.K.ladies? My dad had to dig a path from the back door. I walked to school (it wasn't very far), but girls further away in the county didn't come in. Our small classes were reduced to about 3 girls.

~in the late 70.s we got cut off for a week on Gower ~every one walked to the local farm for milk and eggs and I think the local shop was totally stripped of food!
