Yes Marguerite it does have a beautiful scent.

Yes Delonix1 we do have mildew problems, thats why we just have the hardy Fiji variety!

What is the name of the Fiji variety?

My neighbor has many varieties of roses...and she is constantly spraying for mildew and bugs. Although she seems to have flowers on her rose bushes all year. She just cus them back a little after they bloom, and they bloom again in a few weeks.

I love the flowers but do not like growing the plant.

I really don't think the Fiji variety has a name Delonix. But most of the roses here have small flowers which don't bloom as big as the ones overseas. They come in a variety of sizes and colours as well.
Most of these roses we grow from cuttings.
