Datura, or really Brugmansia, Sanguinea in flower early November 2008 in my conservatory. It has been outside all summer, and flowered there from late September. It's now 'in for the winter'

A big yes from me as well. Brugmansia are a bit tougher than we might think.
One person I work for has a huge greenhouse. His wife raised all sorts of neat plants.
She had a stroke and cannot do much anymore. I take care of its bones. You see, the husband didn't care and did not buy the diesal to heat it, and near everything died.
The Brugmansia did not, nor the Avocado trees. Cymbidium, One ficus variety, Birds nest fern (surprise) and a few other things including some flowering begonias.
The temparature dropped to 28 degrees F. and the pipes were frozen solid.
