Can someone tell me what this little bird is I know it not a sparrow to little and chubby to be one I would be most thankful for help in identification ...

Thanks very much guys I did wonder if it might have been a Dunnock or a Wren but was.nt to sure I do have a bird book but its been put somwhere safe, so safe I cannot find it...

Janette this bird is a Dunnock ,also named as a Hedge Accentor
lovely bird ..not liked by the robin,for ever lasting chasing him off the bird table

He is Eileen I have noticed that any time he pops out of the hedge Deida the Robin chases him...

I think it might be a dunnock. I have them in my garden and that's what I've always called them.
