Starling

Starlings can be hunted year round in the state of TN . Are they not nuisance birds in the U.K. ? Amazing that you could get that close .

Well................I think the starling's striking beauty is often overlooked

This is a fantastic photo.
I have squirrel-proof feeders to keep out the starlings and give the little birds a chance to eat. But I also have peanut feeders for the starlings at the end of my garden. Starlings are very comical when a whole group of them splash together in the bird bath. Usually the smaller birds stand nearby to take advantage of a free shower made by the starlings' wings :o)

Yes I agree they are cheeky and very comical to watch..gives me a lot of pleasure
