Some blossom off one of the many flowering gums on the farm.

Thanks Wagger. This is one of my favorite ones, mostly because early in the morning when I'm arriving at The Big Shed to start working there are often blue wrens flitting around in it.

You could be right Marguerite, I'm not familiar with a lot of the native tree names. Yes the wrens are lovely birds, I saw the fairy wrens when I was in W.A about 12 years ago. Darling little things they are, just as adorable as the blue wrens.

I'd love this tree too, but I don't think, somehow, they would appreciate cold, wet and windy Norfolk!!

I think that you would be able to find some eucalyptus that would survive there as we get some growing over here on the ski slopes. Never there to see them in flower but the bark has always fascinated me, so much pretty colour during snow season.

Would love to have this tree. I have a few eucalypts that are hardy but this wouldn't stand a chance.
