Unfortunately the last photo of these cuties because the next time I went back to photograph them they'd flown the nest. I could hear them in the gums nearby but couldn't spot them.

Thanks guys. I mostly took these photo's so I could share them with everyone here because as gardeners we tend to appreciate how wonderful it is to have something like this happen in our own little domain.

No these ones are mostly green all over with the bits of bright colour like what you can see in the photograph. I think these are also slightly smaller than the Western Rosella.

No problems Marguerite. I've not seen any of the Western Rosella's on our farm or in the surrounding area. These green ones are quite common though. Still pretty though. :)
I'm currently trying to catch up on my work correspondence so I'll try to, although if I find my cable for the camera I'll probably give it up to upload some of the photo's I took on my trip. Hopefully you are having a more relaxing evening.
