Thanks Young D. My nails are long and manicured too. My hands actually look like they belong to a woman right now, that's odd for me, and irritating...LOL
You guessed right GT, this is a rememberance , everything here is dead and gone.

Lots of greeny leaves in here.

sigh... "deep in December...it's nice to remember" we had rain today...after three weeks of cracking cold...this weather is nuts! So nice to see your lovely garden looking it's best.. patience...soon it will be lush again!

Hi Lori, I love your little phrase, it sounds very nostalgic. You and TT both certainly have a wonderful way with words. Wish I had that talent !
It's been very cold here too, mother nature apparantly decided to skip Autumn this year ! Now..., if I can just convince her that winter isn't all it's cracked up to be either....;-)
BTW Lori, I love your new avatar !

Thanks Flcrazy...It's a scrap of lyrics from a song by Tom Jones...The last verse is:
Deep in December it's nice to remember
Although you know the snow will follow
Deep in December it's nice to remember
Without a hurt the heart is hollow.
Deep in December it's nice to remember
The Fires of September that made us mellow...
Deep in December our hearts should remember
And follow.... follow....follow...
you may be too young to remember it...it came out in 1960...it's a lovely sentimental song.
Avatar is a pictorial of:" It is better to light one little candle than to curse the darkness..." the effects were supplied by my little camera and a mirror. lol...

Just little before my time, but not by much,..lol. I was born in Jan '61. I will have to ask my Mom if she remembers it.

Makes me laugh all the ladies that come into my shop fresh from a manicure at the shop next to us and ask if I'd mind taking the money out of their purse so they don't mess their nails up!

Still looks mostly green and lush. Is this now? or a remembrance to fill the void where dirt should be....lol.
