It's a good shrub, not spectacular but always looks at its best. Evergreen leaves, red stems, good shape and small yellow scented flowers in spring. What a designer would call 'architectural'

Mine is still a baby, but it has grown in the 15 months since I planted it. It is about 2'6" and maybe 1'6" across. So they are quite slow growers, then. Thanks for the answer.

Yellow flowers? Read that they had pink male and white female flowers. Do you need two for berries? Do the birds like the berries?
