Cut the top off in the summer. The top is doing fine, all though lost colour due to the cold. The stem has sprouted over half a dozen new shoots. How lucky am I.

As soon as the warm weather gets here they will go out in front of my banana again.

I bet we could have them as house plants Tat.....the ones I used to have I planted in circular gardens round my olive trees and from spring to Autumn they had no water only eary morning humidity and plenty of light. The bright green variety is gorgeous too and the cone flowers......stunning!
