Hi Greenthumb yes it's known here as a miniature anthurium. Maybe it has a proper name to it but I don't know. Delonix or Marguirite might know.

Is this Anthurium hybrid common in Fiji? It is a pretty common Anthurium here...it is also very hardy. In time...this Anthurium grows very straggly here. I heard from it need to be cut into pieces and replanted every couple of years. I never did this and mine eventually died. Have you had to do this?

No Delonix I dont think its very common here. It has flowered before, I bought this a few years ago. No I haven't got to cut and replant it yet, thats the first I've heard. Thanks though, I will keep that in mind.
