Queen of my heart Lady Catkins β Oh what a beautiful tree for a beautiful Queen in a beautiful castle. Look how tastefully this real tree has been treated enhancing itβs great natural beauty. I have seen another tree which is so covered in tat that you cannot even see the tree itself. It even had a flower pot obscuring the angel β what sort of monster would do such a thing β the abominal snow person perhaps . Having a snow covered tree and snow outside would be a dream come true for most here, we rarely see snow at Christmas. I vote for this as the best looking tree on GOY. What is the background to the Christmas figures in the photo?

It's a lovely and unusual tree, Catfinch. Now - wasn't Heather right in getting you to decorate it?
Happy Christmas - and looking forward to a much better year in 2009.

I love my gifted to me tree...I have never had a snow flocked tree before...so this is different for me and I like it too...thank you for all of your nice compliments and good wishes..I enjoyed having Heather with me to decorate..have not done it in years ...taking out ornaments from when she was little and having her remember them with me was fun...we also hung for the first time the ornaments from my childhood that I was given after my parents passed away...the tree is heavy with love...it also has a package tucked into its limbs all the way from Wales...I have promised not to open it till Christmas Day...lol...I also have a gift for me from me tucked into the limbs...I bought it a long while back and can barely remember what it looks like...as I have made myself not look...but I think it is a cowgirl coffee mug..cannot really remember now...LOL...GF asked about the figurines etc. There are my Scandanavian Hans Christian Anderson Apple Girl & Boy in the window seal...on the left...my North Woods Santa who reminded me so much of a picture of my Great Grantfather, on the right. I have smaller Santa figurines on the little table with him..there is a Norwegian Santa, A Laplander Santa as I am also of Sami decent and a Swedish Santa of which I am not decended but love the Dala horse he is carrying...LOL..I also purchased myself my very first ever ornament for me some time back and have kept it put up it is a golden horse ornment...it was the first one I put on.
I hope and wish for you all a very Happy.... Merry Christmas.....~Cat

Lovely tree CF. I'm so glad you got one given and put it up. Looking at all the ornaments is always fun to do and remembering when you got them and what they were for. I'm glad you got to spend some time with your daughter doing this.
Merry Christmas my friend and best wishes for a new and exciting 2009.

Only just catching up with photos, but what better day for me to find this lovely tree than on Christmas Day itself. Wonderful tree and so kind of Heather to help you.
