Phytolacca dioica - Ombu Tree

This is large tree...it become an absolute gargantuan tree. I have seen some trees in the Los Angeles area that are over 100 feet/30 meters tall with a trunk about 12 feet/3.5 meters in diameter. They extremely quickly also.

Thanks...this is a young tree. It can only be grown in a very large property or park because of its eventual size. It is a very beautiful tree.

I saw the one at the Huntington..magnificent caudex like trunk...huge actually.
