Norfolk Pine

This was a Christmas present and they had tiny red bows all over it.
I have never grown one so I'm looking forward to seeing how it does.

Looks very cute.
I hope you are successful in growing it.

Will you plant it out Mike?

It's strictly an indoor plant in my growing zone.

I just read on the internet where they like to be kept constantly damp Gilli. Maybe yours dried out too much causing the needles to fall off. Not too long ago I saw one in a greenhouse and it was taller than I am. Quite spectacular but then I'm thinking where do I put another tall and wide plant. Guess where there is a will there is a way :)

Don't let Delonix1 put you off... His grow outside... I just love these symmetrical little beauties.... I had one years ago that my cat loved to sleep curled beneath...what the attraction was I still don't know but Sibby felt at home there!

Yes, Lori...these trees grow very large here...about 200 feet/61 meters tall, however, they can be very messy trees. My tree is about 80 feet/ 25 meters tall.

It is a very symmetrical tree that's very beautiful when planted on a very large lot or in a park.

This tree is very widely grown at the lower elevations of California.
