Beautiful Deida....I remember when they used to peck through the milk bottle tops to get at the cream.....they can't do that anymore :o(

Pink floyd very good...this is the proper name for this little bird,if you have a look at my pics page two,there you find the Great Tit on a coconut and the Long-tailed Tits on a green Net Sac...

I remember them pecking through the milk bottle tops too. Now that is a while ago. I love these little birds. I wish we had them here. Chickadees have the same personality.

Gilli,must admit never heard of chickadees..looked it up (wikipedia) what a lovely little bird too..do you get them in your garden?

Yes,we get lots of chickadees Deida. They stay around all year. They are funny, cheeky little fellows. And their song is their name.......Chicka - dee - dee - dee. They are about the same size as a blue tit, maybe a bit smaller. Same cheeky personality. I think they must be related.
