That is really pretty and she used nice doggy prints...the dogs won't chew on them, will they?

They don't chew on anything much, other than their toys, and bones...You should have seen them with the bunch of pig's ears I bought them for New year's....Our new canine tradition!
Sometimes our socks or slippers get nibbles!

GREAT quilt. I love them and have collected quite a few over the years. I especially like hand tied ones.

Beautiful quilt Newfie. You have very lucky puppies. I love the little dogs and fire hydrants. It must have taken your Gran quite some time.
Brad got a quilt given to him yesterday by the volunteers at the cancer clinic. There is a quilters club in Kamloops that makes quilts for every cancer patient that comes through. It is lovely and beautifully made. He was pretty impressed. Its even done in nice "manly" colours. There are such wonderful people up there.

Thanks for the great comments guys. Not bad for her first try. I hope to get a one for me soon too!
Sounds like a lovely idea for the volunteers to give quilts to ill people like that, Gilli. I'm not sure who Brad is, maybe your husband? Sorry to hear that he has cancer. Hope he will be ok. Maybe you could post a picture of the quilt to share now that you have interested us with you story?

Brad is my stepson Newfie and he was just diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the end of November. He started his chemo treatments in early December and will be having them until May.
I'll try and get a picutre of the quilt to post.
