I used to have Ducks and chickens when i lived in Surrey a few years ago....

I hope I can keep a few chickens when I retire, they earn their keep by gifting eggs to us.

Milly looks lovely I am sure she would have got on with Ethel had she been here

She was lovely Amy....aren't they a super shape...I always want to stroke them!
When the kids were little our Goldie (a Golden Comet) wasn't too well and she spent Xmas in a cardboard box on the hearth....complete with tinsel round her box! lol

I do like them Janey ,they have such funny characters we would have done the same as you .. to look after a poorly one ... We are softys aren,t we . .. Did she get better ?

We are Amy.....yes she was fine after a few days.... think she caught a chill......she enjoyed the turkey dinner too LOL
