Lovely garden..........

I'm trying to teach Conker my Sheltie to mow lovely stripes like that with his John Deere 'real sounds' mower ( see photos ). Unfortunately he's still having trouble endeavouring to steer in straight lines. :o)

Like Conker, I have trouble steering in straight lines sometimes but Conker can't use my excuse of too many beers!

Thanks FF,I'm sure to be adding a few more pics. I've got camera happy since I went digital last year! I might take some of the garden tomorrow as it wil be covered in snow. It's been snowing for a couple of hours and settling.We don't, very often, get much here in the south eastern corner.

Thanks Flcrazy. It looks better from a distance!!! I try to keep it nice but we have a lot of dry weather here in the south east of England and my corner plot is very windy which also dries out the garden so it's difficult to keep green in the summer. A few years ago, I would have watered it but I don't do that these days as we're always being told how short of water we are!!! I water the plants in the borders with rain water collected in water butts.

That's a keen way to water your flowers Paul. My grass always browns out in the summer here due to lack of water too, so I feel your pain. It just makes it all the sweeter when it looks like this doesn't it ?

Yes, lot's of rain her last week, Flcrazy, and I have been away for a couple of days and when I got back today I could see the difference that rain and a few days of sunshine since have made. I just had to take some photos. Will post them later today if I get time. Or maybe even a blog!
