Thanks for your comments. I was very lucky. One of my customers ( I do garden maintenance locally) asked me about 4 years ago if I could divide up and repot his very pot bount Clivia. It made about 6 or 7 separate plants and he insisted on me taking a peice. I did and it was enough to fill 2 seperate pots, one for each of my bow windows. Poor old Jack has since passed away but he'd be pleased to know I'm looking after these plants. He was always very cheerful, just like these lovely Clivias!

A wonderful story PG. I'm sure he'd appreciate the care given to this progeny of his. :-) And what a tangible bit of memory!

Hi Paul, what a lovely story. They are the best plants, the ones that are given. It is an impressive plant.

What a beautiful story. I know what you mean, i have also a plant i got form my grandma when i was a child. It's a beautiful remembrance of that special and loving person who is no longer here, but lives on in our memories.

Wonderful PG. What a welcome sight in the deep winter. I'll have to list this one. :-)
