We were out one day when we saw a pair of Swans flying over , one of them hit the power lines and fell to the ground , we rushed round the field hoping to be able to do something , there was nothing we could do , it,s mate was calling and circling round .. it was very upsetting :o(

Such purity - difficult to imagine they are so fierce when protecting their territory.

they come up pretty close looking for food, a lot of folk go to feed them at the weekends
