At least the rabbit won't eat these (at least, I don't think so).

Oooh Gillian....I always find it so exciting when they start popping through

Me too Milky! I've been wandering around the garden today checking out what's happening that's when I got inspired to mark where I'm going to expand the borders (once I can get anything into the soil to dig with, stil rock hard right now). Meant to snow again next week, but who knows, maybe the forecast will change by then.

But Gillian, you are in Ontario. Why do I still have a yard full of snow and you have none? This is definitely not fair. I will have to complain to the authorities.

Clearly you have displeased the snow gods this year! I think my optimism is keeping mine away, keep telling everyone we're going to get an early spring!

I wonder if my flame thrower practice to melt the snow pot people in preparation for the wellie olympics is what has displeased the snow gods? Maybe I'll try doing a sun dance in the yard.

It really does the heart good to spot life again in the garden, doesn't it ?!

I get so excited when the first little green shoots break through!
Temperature tomorrow is meant to reach 16 F - crazy! Too bad I'll be at work = (

Boy..., you are alot tougher than I am Gillian, if it only got to 16 F, you couldn't get me outside if you threatened to beat me....lol. It's got to get a whole lot warmer than that to entice this ole bird outside to play, I envy you...lol.

Oops! Sorry that shoud have said 16c not f, lot on my mind at the moment.

I might venture out in that Gillian, but only if the wind isn't blowing...lol. It was close to 70 F today and they are calling for it to get near 78 F tomorrow and Sunday ! This has been some of the craziest weather lately. We were just covered in four inches of snow Monday.
