Beginning to think it wasn't such a good idea putting this pic on GOY, ha ha! Perhaps I should have used the one of my wife,Julie. U should see how shocked the poor old scarecrow looks in that one!!!! I didn't take my spade, I was on holiday, a busman's holiday albeit!!

It's funny you should say that, Morgana. 13 years ago when my sons were young, Julie and I took them to see bobby Davro while we wetre on holiday in torquay. In those days , I had very long hair and a huge moustache. We booked late and could only get seats in the front row, right over to one side. The boys thought it was wonderful when B.D. sawe me and said to the audience , " We have a celeberity in the audience" he got the spot light to shine on me and made me stand up and then said" Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it's Worzel gummidge". He then proceded to call me Worzel all night!

No thanks, Morgana, once was enough! What a strange coincidence. I mentioned Bobby Davro to you last week. My eldest son is a comedian/entertainer and he works clubs/pubs/ holiday camps etc.But he doesn't drive so I take him around. ( A real struggle for me now i'm not a youngster but that's another story) This weekend he had two shows in Haven camps in the South West (Poole and Weymouth) The first, Friday was at Rockley Park, Poole and I was really surprised to see that Bobby Davro was on the followig night. I thought it was a real coincidence after I'd mentioned him to you the other day.

lol Paul you could of been rich and taken half his takings for being apart of his act and being Worzel Gommage and I hope your son is successful on the comic and entertainment lovely life see the other side too.

Yes, there are the times when the bookings don't come in.Particularly Jan to March but great job when it's going well, I suppose.
