I went to the Farmers' shop - yes, honestly, I had to get a new gardening jacket 'cos the zip broke on my old one - and there it was on a little plant stand they have! Love at first sight... 80p...

To a non-farming person like me, this store sells such strange sounding items... stuff to wash cows' bits and pieces, all kinds of things to deal with farm animals, gates and wires, feeders, pitchforks, you name it - it's a real education!

I get my compost there, it's the same stuff as GCs but cheaper - and those organic slug pellets were MUCH cheaper than the GC's! Hooray!

Sounds like an interesting place :-) and lovely - why called primlet? i looks a bit like the double ones i bought a while back.

No idea, Angie - but the Morrison's ones were called Primlets as well! A new name dreamt up, I suppose.
