Great design David! Love the flower and the half-rounds along the fence (and along the pathway). It's going to be great in no time! Can't wait to see :)

The half-rounds are real wood log cuttings. I call them my "chocolate logs", lol! As reference to our Christmas choclatey roulades! Yes, the flower shape is nice, may keep, but will have to move. - X

Do you have neighbours on all sides, or is there a path at the back ?

you have a nice high fence to keep the heat in and the noise out and provide support~are you able to put climbers on it?

Hi David - Is this the before picture introducing a new blog perhaps? I too look forward to seeing your progress. Is the flower shape all the planting you inherited with this garden?

The flower shape paving brought back happy memories of my first little house - the front garden was only big enough to for the paving plus small flower beds all round! But I enjoyed it and it really gave me a taste for gardening. Good luck with your gardening plans.

Tt, yes, there is a path beyond the fence, a short-cut to the street and good for bringing in garden stuff.

Arlene, yes, I hope to have climbers, and erect trellis around the fences.

Hi Gf, no - this is the new garden,lol! There are several containers with some shrubs, bulbs, etc, but not much.

Many Thanks, Gee! Several people have said that they like the paving "flower" which was left here. So, I suppose, I'll have to keep it, lol!
But it will have to go elsewhere. I'll find a spot for it.
