I had some of these one year. They died off any never came back, but the ones i planted in my mums garden have trippled in size over the last few years.... I can feel a midnight raid coming on

My questions and Lori's answer under the previous photo seem to indicate that you have to get it just right for these to flower well. Did you do anything different with the ones in your mother's garden? More sun ? Different soil ?
Shallower planting ?

hmmm.... now this may take a little digging but I think I'll see what I can find...I've heard from several members in the UK who don't have success with these corms...and I'm surprised because our climate is such that we have to lift them every autumn...and I don't do anything special to them...just plant them and watch them grow!
