Yes Jacque , it has come out of hibernation in my porch . it looked hungary , the sunshine proberly brought it out ....... :o)

I have had a Bumble bee follow me round the garden today....

So kind Amy to give him his dinner too!.........

Good of u to feed him/her Amy ,Was u wearing Perfume Holly ? Maybe the Bumble Bee thought u was a Flower :)?

He'll think he's the bees knees having that sort of treatment, Amy.

He was really sweet , I stroked him gently with my little finger ,he didn,t seem to mind :o)

It was like velvet Jacque , I don,t suppose it would let me if it had been fully awake , He wanted his supper first . I watched it pick each little crystal up ...... :o)

How sweet of you to give this little one a treat. I'm abnormally afraid of these! As soon as they buzz me my heart starts racing like crazy and I can feel all my hairs raise on my body!!! I wish that I didn't do that, becuase I'd like to photograph them. Liked your story of petting it... I just got goosebumps thinking of touching it! lol

I don,t think they would sting you unless they felt threatened or trapped in your clothing Tasty , we are proberly more afraid of them than they are of us , I would worry more if it was a swarm of wasps .. LOL ..

I had 2 on my heather the other day, but had gone by the time I got my camera. As you say, must have been the warmer weather that brought them out.

Never mind PG lets hope there will be more of them this summer :o)
