Has your Magic Marlot been in the ground all winter Spritzhenry ? I'm wondering because I'd like to know if it would survive the bad weather. I have one but I'm afraid of puting it in the ground.

Hywel my Magic Merlot.....sorry Marlot...must have wine on the brain, has been out all winter, and we have had some very cold nights and days, it is sheltering under some fairly substantial shrubs though.

The one in the pot has been out all the time - the one in the flowerbed was new a few weeks ago. Fingers crossed - but my other Skimmias have been through all that cold in the ground without even blinking!
