Black and white Blackbird , he soon found this hiding place for birdfood

I like photos of birds taken from above, so that you can see the wings, colours and markings. This works especially well with black-and-white here.

How unusual..........never seen a Blackbird like this before......

I haven't seen one like this in years....my Dad used to say it was too much white bread in their diet! lol

Oh thats funny Janey ... LOL ....... This one is a regular he is here every day , when he first came I thought the other birds might attack him for being different but they don,t take any notice :o)

He is lucky..these variagated birds are usually a target !

I thought that BB , they seem to get on fine together , I haven,t witnessed any aggression or fights !

My friend has a blackbird with a few bits of white on him but nothing like this. Glad he is a survivor.

This is a sign of old age in blackbirds, they don't live very long.
