Prunus mume 'Beni-chidori'

Prunus mume 'Beni-chidori' (Prunus mume)

I am so pleased to see this little tree in flower - when the branch fell off the ash tree, it got bent double and had broken branches. What a survivor!

I was delighted that it got over the shock of being hit by a massive branch dropping on it - it's amazing that the 'trunk' didn't snap! :-)
