Corydalis henrikii

Corydalis henrikii (Corydalis henrikii)

This rare corydalis came from the bulb nursery I visited in Lativa last year. Although it is native to south-east Turkey, it needs a cool, woodland spot where it will flower on stems six inches tall

Unusual :o)
I bet you're pleased that it's flowering so well.

Yes, unusual and very pretty.

Dead chuffed TT. With a crowded garden, it's tricky to place small things like this where they won't get swamped

Almost a sense of responsibility growing a rare bulb such as this.
Well done :o)

Also amazing how many species of Corydalis there are! This is an interesting one - well done you!

The Latvian nursery stocks 30 different species plus other named forms as well. The owner also wrote a book on bulbs he has seen growing in the wild and names nearly 50 species in that
