Japanese common name: "Sagisou", 2.5 - 3.5 cm
Scientific Name: Habenaria radiata.
What do you imagine, seeing this flower ? This is one of bulbous plants.

Yes, you are right, to bring a pot inside. It will be difficult to grow this in a pot especially in very cold district as a whole composts in a pot freeze. Small pot is really unsuitable to grow in well moist conditions. This plants grow wild on a swamp or wetlands. So, it will be desirable to cover surface of composts with bog moss or sphagna and put it in a formed stylene box filled with water 1.5 - 2 inch depth.

Oh Tsuyoshi, I have ordered a bulb of this flower. I can't wait until it arrives. It is so pretty. How lovely to see a photo of this. I will have to have mine in a pot and bring it inside over the winter as it is too cold here.
