Thank you for all your comments. We call this "Sagi-sou" in japan (Sagi means white heron and sou plant. May be you know a white heron. Features in full bloom look like image which a white heron spread its wings.

Gilli, was your listed as an orchid?

A friend of mine just gave me 6 tubers of this orchid, last week, I could recognise by the pic in the label, it is called White Egret Orchid, at least here in UK, but comes from Holand! It has been one week since a planted them and they have sprouted already! I hope I will have beautiful flowers like this one!

Hi Tastey... mine were just listed as "Egret Flowers" (Habenaria radiata). Dime sized flowers in spring resemble exotic fringed birds in flight. Tiny, peanut sized corms. Hardy zone 6 to 10. Can be challenging to grow and must be protected in cloder areas."
My bulb still hasn't arrived yet.

Hi Gilli, I telephoned to a person the day before yesterday, who is seemed to be the most experienced expert about 'Egret Flower'. According to his explanation, the bulbs of 'Egret Flower' have superior cold- resistance. This fact is based on his experiment tested in a clold district, Nagano prefecture. It's cold-resistance showed to live under such circumstances as we have the day's min temperature - 10 to -15 deg C for about one month. The wetted moss layer is used to grown it in a pot that more than half depth of moss layer is immersed in water. So the whole contents with bulbs in the pot freezed. It is most important that it is kept under moist condition. He said in the end of conversation, If you want to keep moist condition, 'Kanuma-soil' can be used, which is suitable for keeping the condition. ("Kanuma-soil is inevitable for Bonsai', but I don't whether you know about it and get easily.). And he added, this soil is capable to keep PH in very weak acidic condition, which Egret loves best.
