Spring, raised bed.

Spring, raised bed.

April: Tulips - 'Queen of the Night' (the deep red one) and 'Gavota' (the red/cream). Also, Primroses, Cowslips, and 'Veronica Georgia'. The Veronica is a little known, blue flowered and low growing plant, like a 'Speedwell'. It has a lovely bronzed evergreen foliage all year.

"Come spring, tilt reverses,
Earth shifts and rises, upwards towards the sun
To be held and kissed,
Rises in glory to meet the beaming rays
Of golden furnace shone through haze;
Dehibernation, thaw". (me).
