Hello lourenco, I have had Silver Swan for 3 years now it has been a super plant, however I am not sure what you do when the bracts are finished, I cut mine off but it doesnt seem to be producing any new shoots and is now just a shadow of its former self, have you grown one before?

Lourenco I have just taken a photo of mine in its sorry state and have asked questions about its care on the web site so we both may get some tips,

hello Pansy, I just saw your question there, your Euphorbia looks a bit sad, mine was looking similiar when it was in the greenhouse during the winter, I used some bone fish to feed and some new top soil and compost. now it looks better, but I would like to know exactly what to do with that after the bracts has gone. Hope we have luck with the answers and you can save your plant! byt the way, your garden look very pretty, cottagy!!!

If is a cultivar of E. characias ( and I THINK it is) then you cut down the stems after flowering, and the other non flowering shoots should flower the following year. It is a bit like a delayed herbaceous perennial. Mind you, I don't have 'Silver Swan' but it works on the others (which all have yellow flowers??)
