Nice pic Bonkers. This week seems to a week for coincidence. Earlier Milky uploaded a photo of the moon which looked almost identical to a photo that I took last week and now you upload a pic of a plant that, only tonight I was given by my future son in law's mum.

Wow..clocked the moon connection earlier in the week..but this latest..got me foxed ! Its a lovely plant Toto..please send a pic !

I'll send a pic once I see it. At the moment it is in a plastic carrier bag where it will stay until tomorrow. She gave me a number of pieces of this and some some pieces of, what she called "blue eyed grass" which, apparently is a very short, grass like plant with a small blue flower.

I'm glad I came back to this photo Bonkers as I now know what the plant I featured in my blog of today is. The Brunnera I was given the other night has no flowers on it so will probably have to wait until next year, still it will be worth waiting for.
Thanks for the identification help.

Must check on mine! I have to crawl under the shrubs to get to it. :-(

Well when we have so few flowers Spritz something like this bound to grab our attention. Surprised you even know you have one amongst all thoase lovely plants of yours.

Personally I prefer these to forget - me - nots as I find their biennial habit leaves them looking a bit scruffy after flowering.

Thanks Toto and Hywel......

I also like these as opposed to forget-me-nots as they don't suffer from mildew the way that forget-me-nots do.

17 Mar, 2009

Agree Toto, being bi ennial the forget me nots develop mildew as they die off,and end up looking scruffy.
