Thanks for those great ideas - actually Tasteyg I had thought that if I'd managed to catch it I would take it to my school and see if anyone was interested in having him as a class pet (I've got fish in my room and that's enough). The problem is the catching bit. He's a very slippery character - too smart for us so far!

He is so cute. He looks quite at home there.

Yes 4ddreamscape he has become rather settled in here, but I'm afraid it's him gone or the garden gone and the garden will stay!

I bought a guinea pig a long time ago and within a week it had four babies that I had to find homes for but they were cute.
