No Marguerite I don't know which acacia this is - it's growing in the neighbouring spare allotment and hangs over the fence into our yard. There are a few of these trees scattered around here in the bush and they're all flowering at the moment.

My neighbour seems to think it's called 'acacia retinoides', Marguerite. Will have to look it up and see. It is strange that there doesn't seem to be any acacias where you are - I have posted another acacia (not long ago) that is growing in my neighbour's garden and it's growing on the street footpath - don't know what that one is either.

I have also been doing some research and, like you, have found endless lists of acacias - I'm just not sure which one this is.

Lovely, Bernieh. Marguerite, I think it might be Acacia longifolia.
