You're not alone in this sort of behaviour - you are among friends just like you on this site.

I was very restrained today - compost and only two plants!

You're like me. I go into a garden centre and say I'm only going to look, But then I come out loaded.

Oiorpata ~
Did you remember to buy the compost ? Lol.

I did, but there wasn't any room for it in my trolley. I was standing there looking puzzled when a member of staff came over to ask if I needed assistance. I explained that I was trying to work out how to get six growbags of peat free compost onto the trolley she summoned a bloke to fetch another trolley, drive it to the checkout, and then across the car park and load them into the car for me. Full marks for service at Wyevales in Swansea.

That was very helpful of Wyevales.
Good to know where staff are willing to go that extra mile ~ across the car park ~ Lol.
Recently I had similar useful assistance from a handsome young man working in Morrisons, when I bought bags of puppy food, too heavy to carry. :o)
... and puppy is growing well. Lol.

We all seem to have the same affliction , going into a garden centre for one thing and lots more plants jump into our trollys , it,s so annoying ...LOL ...

I went into Focus the other day to look at the lights and came out with an armful of plants. Too much temptation. I always see something that I haven't got. The only trouble is that one day my flowerbeds are going to be really full and I have a load of geraniums etc growing in the greenhouse and what will I do with them? I suppose I can always put them into pots. My garden now is so much smaller than the quarter acre one that I've just moved from.............

Do you ever find yourself peering over the garden wall to next door and thinking of all the good uses you could make of that space if you could annex it?

I dig the garden bed that runs between the two bungalows for the young man next door and plant it and we both enjoy the result. He is very busy and when he is out in the garden we chat about gardening.
