Spring Pot Today

Mine are just opening up.........

Lyn, we are still around 0F and still stackes of snow. The darkness is only about 8hours left so the sun is burning snow off any surfaces that have been shovelled, except the ground. I'm timing my bulbs with those over there to get spring color and give them a good long summer of growth before storing up or trying out over wintering. I've never grown tulips.

I'm excited to see what they look like. I don't seem to ever get the color in the picture....lol.

Well you're certainly ahead of my tulips!! despite your hard temperatures. What are the little seedlings showing their heads?? I was so interested to read about your own habitat - keep at it, and as yu say the support on here is just tremendous. I'm off to Holland next week - the land of the bulbs so I hope to bring back some great pics & maybe one or two samples !!

These shot up like wildfire MG, indoor only still of course. Blooming happily on my latest pics. I put in poached egg flower and pansy to populate after the tulips have gone. Not many more came up but they should be full once they get going. Enjoy Holland. I Don't know how you'll choose a few! :-)
