Thanks TT - this is my one and only orchid and I've had it now for about 5 years. It still flowers perfectly without much help from me - so it's the sort of orchid I love!

Yes, we have a special place in our hearts for those lovely loyal plants, whatever the type, which flower year after year with little help from ourselves!

Thanks Terratoonie and Tasteyg. Tasteyg the greenery behind the orchid are the ferns that grow all over the stone wall at the back of my greenhouse - they're the giant sword fern.
