Jewson's makes a delivery. (Parus caeruleus)

Not a very good pic I'm afraid but you can just see the building materials in his beak. He has been taking this type of material into the nest box for a few days now, but I'm not having much success at photographing him.

Yes Jacque he (must be a he as he's doing the work) has been bring nesting materials to the box for a few days now so looks as though the mortgage was approved and he got the loan. I'm really hopeful that we will soon hear the patter of tiny bluetit hooves.

How Super Alan im so plezd 4u "Bug Hug" how excitied u must feel that your Nest Box has Tenants :)

Definitely. Normally, I have about six or seven apartments of my sparrow apartments occupied but so far this year no-one has taken up residence. This is the first year I have put up a box especially for bluetits and it's looking very hopeful at the moment.
There's still time for the sparrows, so haven't given up hope.

How wonderful! Feeding is one thing, new tenants another. Congratulations!

You do realise that this is going to cost me in terms of the provision of extra mealworms Greenthumb.

TT. Will you post a pic of gangly truffle please?
Bonkers. there are a couple of other bluetits which are quite often thwre at the same time as him but can't tell which, if either of them is the misses. Both seem to be giving instructions so could be either one.
Thanks Deida.
