I took this photo today 26 March ( isn't digital photograghy great,no waiting for them to be processed ) The arch on the right is a bit iggledepiggledy cos I had a real struggle to build it under weight of the Wisteria etc. Adding to my problem was an Echium which was growing near one the upright posts. I commited involuntary herbicide when I tied it back out of my way,Killed it stone dead. I deceased it. Its extinct. They just dont like being moved once they are established.Trouble was my finger prints were all over it, but my plea of temporary insanity was accepted by the boss lady.

Sometimes shrubs have to go to make way for new designs.
