This is a wonderful Penstemon and well-photographed.
Do you take cuttings of this one, to make sure it survives the winter ?

I have only had this Penstemon since June 08 so this was it's first winter, I didn't know I should have taken cuttings. Though it seems to have survived - even though it got snowed on twice. I will be taking cuttings this year though - when is the best time to do this I do this?

Hmm, looks like another addition to my wish list.

I would highly recomend this Penstemon, it more or less flowers all year round!
